From the call to the repair
Most of these faults are diagnosed in the first twenty minutes; the value is in not replacing the wrong part.
- The phone call. Tell us the brand, roughly how old it is, and what changed. Any error code on the display is worth reading out.
- The diagnosis. We measure — coil temperature, defrost circuit continuity, fan draw, water pressure at the valve — rather than working from the symptom alone.
- The price. Agreed before the first screw comes out, and it covers both the part and the work.
- The fix. Same visit wherever the part is on the van, which is the usual case for the failures that account for most calls.
